Macoupin County Guide to Precincts and Polling Places

The Macoupin County Guide to Precincts and Polling Places is a special guide created this year to help voters understand the precinct changes and potential new polling places due to the number of precincts going from 61 to 45. While the regular voter’s guide will come out the following week, this guide specifically shows each township’s polling places as well as a map for those townships that had more than one precinct before the change. Voters are encouraged to confirm their polling place before Election Day. Since January, every voter received a new voter card with their current precinct and polling place on it. The MacoupinVotes.gov Voter Lookup Tool has allowed voters to look up their registration and confirm that information. This guide has been published. And this month, notices will go out in the mail to voters whose polling place has changed to remind them of their new polling place.

The guide is an insert in all Macoupin County newspapers this week but can be found digitally at the link below.
