Carlinville, IL — Macoupin County Clerk Pete Duncan is asking local businesses, organizations, government offices, and community groups across Macoupin County to submit updated contact and service information for inclusion in the next update of MacoupinDirectory.com, the county’s comprehensive online public directory.
The directory serves as a central resource for residents, visitors, and businesses seeking information on local services, community organizations, public offices, and tourist spots throughout the county. To ensure the information remains accurate and useful, the Clerk’s Office is conducting a countywide update of all directory
listings.
“We want MacoupinDirectory.com to be the most reliable, up-to-date resource possible for our residents,” said Pete Duncan, Macoupin County Clerk. “This update depends on direct input from our local businesses, nonprofits, service providers, and government partners. If your organization serves the people of Macoupin County or helps attract visitors to our communities, we want to make sure your information is correct and included.”
Participants are asked to verify or submit their organization’s:
- Business or organization name
- Physical address
- Phone number
- Email contact
- Website and social media links
- Description of services or mission
- Hours of operation
Submissions can be made by visiting www.MacoupinDirectory.com and following the directory update instructions, or by contacting the Macoupin County Clerk’s Office directly.
“This effort strengthens local visibility and helps residents connect with the services they need while also promoting tourism and economic development across Macoupin County,” Duncan added. “Keeping this directory accurate benefits our whole community.”
